ICE HOCKEY!!!! We watched the local Rochester Team - the Ice Hawks - play another South Minnesotan team on Friday night. $7 entry and popcorn, hot dog, and a hot cider for around $5

One of the charity fundraisers that is incorporated into the game is some sort of buy a toy scheme. Before the match, you can buy a stuffed toy for a few dollars. When the first goal is scored, you throw the toy onto the rink. Here are some
of the Ice Hawks and the refs clearing the toys up after the first point was scored (by the Ice Hawks, of course).

Full time score - 4-2 ( I think)...all you need to know is that the Ice Hawks won!

On Saturday night I made apple raspberry crumble from goods frozen from the Summer Farmer's Markets. Yum!
Tuesday marks the start of more snow...and maybe a blizzard, if we're lucky. Here you can see the warm little people getting around town in the sky ways.

Here's the plaza where we saw Christmas lights last week...now with snow!

It was getting heavier as I headed home to meet the grocery delivery. Our poor little palm was freaking out a little "What the hell is that white stuff? Keep it away from me!!".

The snow is getting heavier now...more pics in a few days!
