I never thought that I'd actually be caught dead wearing a hat with ear flaps. That was until I lived somewhere that regularly got temps below -17C (without wind chill!). A minute or so out in that kind of weather and my ears are cramping in pain. Suddenly, the ear flap hats make sense! Oh, and check out my totally fashionable snow boots! ek!

I'm holding our xmas plam. At $2 from Wal-Mart it was a bargain! You can't see it well in this shot but it does have a gold foil star on it.
