Wedding in Minneapolis

Although we ate all weekend, we forgot to take photos of the food! Here are some other pics of Chris & Rebecca's wedding. We had a fantastic night!
As it was our first time in Minneapolis, we started the day with a search for the best pubs. In the end, we loved "Brit's Hotel" - complete with its own bowling green and "The Local" a great Irish pub that is known for a Jameson-based drink called "The Big Ginger".

The venue for the reception of Chris & Rebecca's wedding was the very exclusive "Minneapolis Club". The whole mansion was open to just the wedding party. We spent the night wandering the rooms. Dinner was on one floor and dancing and a pool room on another.

The best man giving his very funny speech to the bridal party table.
A really great mix of cupcakes made up the cake.

Sarah (the groom's sister) and I.

Wendy (mother of the groom) dancing with her father Ron.
A highlight of the evening was an interlude of the Australian national anthem and Waltzing Matilda. Only the yanks were suprised that we didn't know the second verse to either song.

Most of the blokes spend a good part of their night around the pool tables.
