Rochester on Tour is an annual event. Business, education, and community representatives tour the 'Capitol' (St Paul, MN) and present their concerns and promote future goals to the state legislators. Erin went as a representative of UMR. In light of the debate about health care at the national level and the fact that this year is a 'bonding' year at state level, it was a very interesting outing!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to nerd you out now though - it shouldn't be that surprising that the IBM guy would use a Mac. In fact, IBM was involved in designing the PPC processors that all Macintoshs ran on up until very recently. They also heavily support Linux and open-source systems. Ok, turning nerd off now.
