The ice bar at WinterFest is one of the biggest gatherings we've seen in Rochester. A 50-odd foot ice bar (biggest in Minnesota) is the venue. Drinks are served out of ice cocktail and shot glasses.
Many of the local stores also have ice sculptures created to support the event. This boot was outside a shoe store.
Every night there is a band performing from the warmth of the skyway - the tunes are then broadcast across the plaza.
